GB-Sol is recruiting an Account Manager to expand its customer portfolio of PV installation companies and building companies. 

GB-Sol is a long established manufacturer and distributor of photovoltaic systems for installation at public sector, commercial and domestic premises throughout the UK and Ireland.  The company has enjoyed significant growth across a range of sectors over recent years, and is well placed for continued expansion, despite the reductions announced for the Feed-In Tariffs.

The Role:                             The Account Manager will be responsible for the marketing of GB-Sol products to installers and construction firms throughout the UK.  

 

Key responsibilities:     

  • forming new relationships with potential customers and maintaining relationships with existing customers
  • seeking new business opportunities
  • working with the manufacturing team to identify new products with a competitive edge

 

Qualifications & Experience                        

The ideal applicant will:

  • have  at least two years experience with at least one building integrated renewable energy technology (preferably solar PV)
  • be confident in a client-centered environment and commercially astute
  • have excellent communication skills
  • have a technical background and be IT literate with skills covering Word, Excel and preferably a recognised sales productivity system
